About Me From the first day of my career, co-workers would inquire, "Write this, please, can you?" And, "Can you proofread this? It needs to be perfect!" I have always been proud of this ability to be useful by helping others with their communications. Since then, my 20-plus years working for companies large and small have grounded me in what it takes to communicate professionally and effectively. I have worked in the industries listed below as a publications coordinator, editor, proofreader, writer, administrative assistant or sales professional.
In June 2009 I earned a certificate in editing from University of Washington Extension. My studies helped me update and quantify my editing skills so that I could accelerate my full-time freelance work. |
