About Me

Ever since I can remember, my family and friends, classmates and coworkers have asked me, “What does this word mean?” And, “How do you spell that?” I have always been proud of this ability to be useful by helping others to express themselves well.

My skills as a word and language geek have fueled my career pursuits as an all-around advertising, broadcasting, e-commerce, editorial, publishing and sales professional for more than 20 years.

In June 2009 I successfully completed the editors’ certificate program offered by the University of Washington. Subsequently I set up my own company, NancyEdits, and began working with clients.

Helping to make your website copy flow, to improve your résumé or to craft a more marketable novel is what I was meant to do.
